~Cutter    Creek    Ranch    Standardbreds~

At ~Cutter Creek Ranch~ we are starting a new and exciting Rehabilitation Program for Standardbred Race Horses. Each Program is developed for the horse that is involved. There are many productive options to consider.

The best care available is given you your horse. We only take in a limited number of horses at a time so that there is individual attention given to each horse.

We have access to; miles of gravel and hard top rolling hill roads, 1/4 mile sand track, 80 acers of pasture, 3 padocks, arena, and miles of endurance type trails that are used for ponying and riding. The barn consists of; 10 stalls, hay/straw stall, hay loft, tack/grain room, saw dust storage (outside), manure spreader with ramp, and wash racks. There are 3 times a day feedings, 24 hour supervision and care.

We work hand in hand with the farrier, veternarian and trainer to develop a work load that your horse can handle. Lamenesses are attended to daily, and veterinarian recommendations are followed to the letter.

A daily log is kept on each individuals progress. The rates are very reasonable, generally less than your trainer's. Trainer's who recommend us will recieve a percentage of the monthly bill.

Racing Under Saddle

Racing Under Saddle is a new and exciting part of the United States Trotting Association. Standardbred racehorses are used and are still trotters/pacers. They are raced on mile on approved harness racing tracks.

There are different levels of competing. There is the RUS and Boots and Saddles. They race at many major tracks in Ohio, Pennisilvania, New Jersey, and Wisconson. RUS compete in Northern Ohio Colt Stakes, on Ohio Fair tracks.

I am running both circuts this year with two different horses. I will be riding Max Kister, last year's mount who won 2 out of 6 races and sports an undersaddle record of 2:06. We were no less than 3rd in any of our races. We did not stake as big last year, so had a limited amount of races to compete in.

My other mount will be the great horse: Sir Beaudemegas p.1:55, $226,000+ earnings in the race bike. He is a big strong horse with a lot of heart, so I hope to do well with him.
